Binational of Central California is devoted to supporting both farmworkers and low-income families across the Central Valley. We strive to bolster community health and resources, with a particular focus on facilitating essential services such as food distributions, health fairs, as well as coordinating COVID-19 testing and vaccination events. We connect these communities with vital resources, ensuring they have access to the support and services needed for improved well-being.
promoting wellness within the Central
Valley’s underserved communities.
At Binational of Central California, we take an active role in the fight against food insecurity. We organize and participate in numerous food distribution events every week across the Central Valley, including in Fresno, Riverdale, Mendota, Firebaugh, Selma, and other communities. Through these efforts, we’re able to provide vital food assistance to around 1,500 families each week.
We at Binational of Central California prioritize the well-being of our community by organizing regular Health and Resource Fairs throughout the Central Valley. These events concentrate on delivering education and health services, especially to under-served rural areas. We are dedicated to equipping our communities with the tools they need for a healthy and stable life.
At the Binational of Central California, we recognize that mental health often remains an overlooked concern in underserved and low-income communities. We’re committed to bridging this gap by offering resources and education on the importance of mental well-being. Our aim is to empower individuals to understand, value, and seek the mental health support they need.
Binational of Central California is instrumental in safeguarding public health throughout the Central Valley by coordinating vaccination events and testing services. We’re proud to acknowledge that, with support from grants from UCLA and the Latino Community Foundation, we’ve had the privilege to facilitate the vaccination of over 20,000 farmworkers and low-income families in rural regions.
